About
A quick look at my journey
Getting started
My interest in technology started with Discord bot development. These were my first real projects. I also created and hosted a custom bot for the Royalistiq Community, which made me realize how much I enjoyed building things for others.
From servers to infrastructure
Later I discovered FiveM. I learned how to create scripts and run my own server. This experience eventually brought me to Shadowzone Gaming, where I became Head of the FiveM commission.
Studying & working
I did all of this while I was still young, so studying informatics was a logical next step. After high school I chose Applied Computer Science at UCLL because I wanted a practical program.
During my studies I worked as a student entrepreneur and at Make A Difference, the Department of Materials Engineering, and the central helpdesk at KU Leuven. These roles helped me grow both technically and as a person.
Leveling up
I completed my bachelor without any retakes and graduated in 2025 with magna cum laude. My bachelor project, my internship at KU Leuven, and courses like Server and System Management and Enterprise Server Management strengthened my interest in infrastructure.
After my internship I continued working at KU Leuven, focusing on scripting and automation in Go during the summer period.
Now
This led me to my next step: the Master of Science in Security and Network Engineering at the University of Amsterdam. The program includes a selective intake with several exams, which I completed successfully. Today, I'm building on everything I learned and working toward a career where I can contribute to meaningful technology in a fast-growing and constantly evolving field.
